GOVERNOR HÜSEYİN KÖK VISITS ERTAŞ GROUP
Nevşehir Governor Hüseyin KÖK visited the BlokBims Integrated Facilities, operating under Ertaş Group, and received information about production processes and investments carried out. During the visit, Ertaş Group Chairman of the Board Musa ERTAŞ and Board Member Mustafa ERTAŞ were present.
During the visit, Governor KÖK was informed about the production process of pumice, one of the region’s important natural resources, from its extraction from the quarry through processing to its transformation into final products. The processes involving the separation of pumice into different sizes and qualities, its processing on production lines, and its utilization in various product groups, particularly bims blocks, were examined on site.
The visit also addressed the potential of transforming Nevşehir’s natural resources into value-added products through industrial production for the regional economy. It was noted that pumice can be used not only in the construction sector but also in agriculture and various industrial applications, and evaluations were made regarding the contributions of processing the raw material and bringing it into the economy in terms of production, employment, and exports.
Production and Technology Investments Examined
Governor Hüseyin KÖK was informed about Ertaş Group’s activities in the bims and petroleum sectors. Evaluations were made regarding the production activities carried out within BlokBims, the processing of pumice into bims products, and the various areas of use of these products.
During the visit, Governor KÖK was also informed about Ertaş Group’s activities in the petroleum sector, as well as ongoing projects and investments in this field. The contributions of the Group’s activities across different sectors to the Nevşehir economy, employment, and regional production were shared.

Ertaş Group Chairman of the Board Musa ERTAŞ thanked Nevşehir Governor Hüseyin KÖK for his visit and stated that they had the opportunity to share information about BlokBims’ production activities, investments, and future goals.
